Dear Friend,

The sky is clear blue. The sea is a deeper blue – sparkling with sunlight. A gentle breeze comes drifting in from the ocean that’s clean and refreshing. You look out from your window and see a vista of cliffs, hidden coves with secluded beaches, rolling hills and mountains dotted with quaint villages.

You notice the weather feels wonderful and see the land is fertile with opportunities for fun and adventure – far away from the urban sprawl and fast-paced lifestyle of most countries. Can this place be real, a virtual tropical Eden? Yes, this is Costa Rica.

And as you’ll soon see, there’s a reason why so many people are interested in buying vacation property, homes to retire to or simply looking to invest in real estate or relocate their business here. (Click here for further information about investing in Costa Rica)

Costa Rica is a Central American nation with a population of 4,579,000. It is a republic governed by a constitution with a 90% literacy rate. It is a safe and stable nation and people from North America and Europe are slowly finding out about the wonderful real estate opportunities that abound here.

We’re not going to pressure you into buying real estate here because you can decide for yourself. What Costa Rica offers speaks for itself and people are picking up great properties at great prices.  What follows is an overview of what’s possible for you:

Why Having a Vacation Property

in Costa Rica is a Great Idea

Let me paint a picture of what a vacation in Costa Rica can be like. You can find yourself lost in the view of the ocean while sipping a delicious cold drink. There are 1,800 km of naturally preserved beaches waiting for you to explore.

If you’re an avid golfer then you’ve got to play on the Melia Paraisus and Marriot Los Suenos world-class golf courses. You can explore the exotic wildlife and flora, which is absolutely breathtaking. You can go kayaking in the calm waters of Golfo de Nicoya and the Golfo Dulce. For good diving spots you can go to Catalina, Isla Cano and the Bat Islands. There’s plenty of surfing to be done too.

You can mountain bike in the Arenal Volcano area and take in the amazing sights and sounds. Whether you’re curious about seeing Costa Rica’s fabulous rainforests or sub-alpine meadow, there are lots of great places to hike.

And if you love fishing, you’ll be excited to know that Costa Rica is an angler's paradise with world class tarpon and snook fishing on the Atlantic Coast … great Rainbow Bass fishing in between and on the Pacific coast there’s lots of world class bill fishing waiting to be done.

There is so much to do, that you could spend weeks and still only scratch the surface – that’s why it makes sense to own a vacation property here so you can bring your family and friends for fun get-aways.

Why Retiring to Costa Rica and

Purchasing Property There

Makes Perfect Sense

Let’s face it the idea of retiring to another country is both exciting and stressful. You want to feel the place you’re buying a property to retire to is safe, stable and affords you the same amenities that you’re used to. The good news is Costa Rica is considered to be “The Switzerland of the Americas.” And did you realize that according to the U.S. State Department that more than 20,000 U.S. expatriates live in Costa Rica?

Many of them are retirees. Those retirees are coming here for a good reason and that’s because Costa Rica has one of the highest standards of living in Central America. It has a growing economy that caters to tourists so you’ll find plenty of theaters, galleries, fine dining in virtually any cuisine, modern telecommunications and more.

Another reason why people love to retire to Costa Rica is that the pace of living is slower – people enjoy “living” here. And retirees are coming because of the lower cost of living. Compared to the cost of living in the US, Canada and Europe your money will stretch much further!
Costa Rica in the area that we service has the infrastructure in place to meet your needs, which includes high speed Internet. And look, you’re only a few hours flying distance to the southern U.S. mainland. Flights from Costa Rica to the US and Europe are frequent – which makes travel easy for you. Also, the time difference between Costa Rica and most US cities is just a couple of hours.

The next big question is, what about the healthcare system? It might surprise you to know that Costa Rica provides healthcare services to visitors from around the world, offering them world class healthcare at a fraction of the cost of that available in the US and Europe.

In fact, the United Nations consistently ranks Costa Rica’s health services as the best in Latin America - and in the top 20 worldwide!

With all of this going for Costa Rica don’t you feel looking into a retirement property here makes sense? Most people who look into this seriously feel that way and we can set you up with a property that fits your needs or even help you build one. It’s your choice.

Why Savvy Investors are

Buying Up Costa Rican Property and

Why You Should Act on This Opportunity

Of course with the falling dollar, the obvious move to make is to invest in hard assets located outside the United States. No matter what happens in the U.S. the value of land here in Costa Rica will continue to increase and your money will be safe.

First let’s start with the tax advantages. Investors pay no capital gains taxes on real estate … business taxes are low … and high interest bank accounts are tax-free. And get this; you won’t have to pay any income tax on income earned outside the country! What’s more, property taxes here are a lot more reasonable when compared with the U.S.

Let’s say you owned a $400,000 piece of land here, as for property taxes; you could expect to pay around $400 a year in taxes. That’s a lot lower than you’d expect in the U.S. or Europe. But there is a catch.

If you own beachfront property, the taxes are higher. And before you buy beachfront property you should know that anything up to 150 meters from the coastline is considered concession land and you technically lease it from the government. Even with this, you’re getting a better deal in Costa Rica than you would elsewhere in most countries.

Now as you might have guessed, already there are parts of Costa Rica that are saturated with tourists and those property prices have risen. But there is still a lot of untouched land and these areas are bound to increase in value as more and more home and land buyers are now moving into those regions to invest.

The time to buy land in Costa Rica is now. That’s because many investors have seen the value of their property triple in the past 3 years. Don’t you think with gains like this it makes sense to find out what’s available to you?

And consider this. Here in Costa Rica, you can subdivide land easily. Sure, different laws apply in different provinces but typically properties located at public roads can be subdivided. You could buy large pieces of land for a low price and then sell it off piece by piece for a lot more – this is one of the ways investors here are making serious money.

In Costa Rica, investors have equal rights and laws to protect them. Costa Ricans are fully aware of the benefit of doing business with European and American companies. So you can pick up properties with 100% confidence. You might be interested to know that Fortune Magazine ranked San Jose, Costa Rica’s capital among its 25 best cities in the world to do business. And did you know that Intel makes all its Pentium chips here?
